What if Vader decided to upgrade his suit to a better one?

We have officially moved on from episode 3.

Now in legends, there was a comic that had him consider this option, but he and Palpatine thought that it was too risky because it involved all his stuff that was kept alive to be removed. So they scrapped the Idea. But what if they didn’t? Well this is how our story begins.

So first of all, Vader is removed from his OG suit and immediately dies. The end. Just joking. So Vader gets the upgrade, and he is now much more powerful. He can move his body, so he can fight better. But most importantly, he could sleep, and live without that constant annoying breathing apparatus. He tried to fight Palpatine a few times, and although it was clear that the suit made it more comfortable, he was still that little bit too slow, and lacking force abilities. But by the time he fights Obi-Wan, ten years after he lost to him on Mustafar, Obi-Wan wasn’t even close.

He tried to defend himself as much as he could, but he just didn't have the same strength as Vader’s prosthetics did. He was defeated and killed. When Yoda sensed the disturbance in the force, he immediately came to Tatooine to take Obi-Wan’s role. He also told Ahsoka that if she finds Vader, she must never engage in a fight. Luke would be in the same timeline as he was in the original timeline, but Yoda wouldn’t fight Vader on the second death star because he needed to train Luke.

So around 13 more years went by, and Luke is fighting Vader on cloud city. Luke is more powerful now than he was in the original timeline, but still nowhere near as good as Vader. Vader cuts off his hand the same way and tells him that he is his father. Luke jumps down, and Vader is too late to catch him. When the time of Return of the Jedi comes, Yoda tells Luke that he needs to find Ahsoka to help him fight the sith.

So he finds her and together they fight Vader just before he was about to take Luke in. Vader is now really powerful, and he is eager to kill what he hopes to be the second last jedi. The fight is extremely hard for Vader and he even felt that he was being cornered. Suddenly, Vader sees an opening and opportunity to slice off Luke’s arm. So he goes for it, but there is a problem. Around 22 years ago, When Vader lost to Obi-Wan on Mustafar, Vader lost a force ability that he was really proficient with. Seeing the near future. So when he went for the swing, Ahsoka was ready. She threw away her lightsabers, and she force pulled the sith lord. So he reaches behind his back to block her attack. But is too slow to block Luke’s from the front.

Vader is now severely injured, but not dead. Because both the Jedi wanted to come back to him and turn him to the light. But first, they had to fight the emperor. They enter his chamber, and Palpatine senses how strong they are. So he doesn’t underestimate them. Luke was growing more powerful with every swing of his lightsaber, and Ahsoka’s powers have doubled since the last time she saw Palpatine. The sith lord sends a wave of force lightning at the jedi, who deflect it with their lightsabers. Then, Palpatine takes out his 2 lightsabers, and flies toward them. He tries to do the same thing he did with the jedi that came to arrest him decades ago, but he was easily pushed back, so they continued fighting.

Luke and Ahsoka could see a clear difference between the master and the apprentice. They tried to trick him, but were always one step behind. Eventually, Palpatine would kick Luke away and lift Ahsoka into the air, and throw her onto the floor. Knocking her unconscious. He then focused on Luke, trying to persuade him to the dark side. But then suddenly Ahsoka force pushed both opponents into the wall. She then pushed Luke out of the room and locked the door. Luke understood that they were outmatched this time, and he honoured her sacrifice.

He then escaped with his father and healed him. They then both turned into grey jedi, and trained in the ways of the force for the next few years. Finally, Vader thought that they were ready to fight the emperor. They entered his chambers once again, but were faced with 2 dark blades, and one of them was Ahsoka’s. Vader engaged in a fight with Ahsoka, while Palpatine shot force lightning at Luke. So he deflected, but not with his lightsaber. With the force, and sent it all back into the sith lord. Then he finished him with a lightsaber, and the galaxy lived in eternal peace.
